Dr. Alvarez serves as Medical/Laboratory Director of Transfusion Medicine, Apheresis, and Cell & Immunotherapy at Miami Cancer Institute. His expertise spans cellular therapy, flow cytometry, immunohematology, and clinical laboratory operations. He previously held leadership roles at CDI Clinical Discovery Institute, OneBlood, and HCA. His background strengthens Boca’s oversight in oncology, immunotherapy, cell therapy, and advanced clinical laboratory integration.
